LEWISTON – Peek A Boo Puppets are throwing a party. Jack the green eyed, red haired rascal and his friend Clunky are inviting everyone to join them for their last puppet show of the season at 9:30 a.m. today and Thursday, June 8 or 9, at the New Life Community Center, 134 College St.

Jack and Clunky like to take the summer off so they decided they would have a party to kick off their vacation with a full hour of puppet fun. There will be games, prizes, singing and dancing. Balloons and a surprise will be given to the children at the end of the show.

Everyone is invited and admission is free.

Following the show, children are invited to play in the new indoor playground at New Life Community Center. There is a new room full of all kinds of sensory areas, sand box, swings, fort, kitchen, dress-up area and a puppet stage with hand puppets. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Peek A Boo Productions will return in the fall. Through the summer Peek A Boo Productions will revamp the stage and make changes to the puppet show.

Members are always looking for volunteers to help with the puppets, make snacks, read a story to the children or dance and sing. If interested, call 782-1112 or e-mail thelma@megalink.net for more information.
