Two area golfers shot a hole-in-one in recent play.

Richard W. Dedek II notched his ace Saturday at Fox Ridge Golf Club in Auburn, the #13 hole, 113-yards, using a pitching wedge. The feat was witnessed by Rick Dostie, Bob Allen and Pat Allen.

Greg Sawyer shot his first hole-in-one Monday at Fairlawn Golf Course in Poland. He aced the #11 hole 133-yards, using a 9-iron. Playing partner was Kevin Trinward.
