BATH – The Chocolate Church Arts Center will present “Comedy Blast” at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, June 18.

Comic George Hamm and Bath own’s Johnny Ater the Paintah will be joined by special guests, Quinn Collins and Johnny Cail.

George Hamm, a Portland resident, has performed coast-to-coast in such comedy clubs as the Laugh Factory, the Improv and Comedy Works in Montreal.

Hamm landed feature roles in three independent films in the past two years: “Pennyweight”, “Open Mic” and “Mint Condition.”

Ater, a Bath native, has been performing in the area (on stage, as well as at Rogers Hardware and various other quick coffee stops) for a wicked long time.

He has also been involved in Bath’s July Fourth parade for the last five years, winning most humorous.

Ater enjoys entertaining the troops, whether it is from the top of a ladder or on stage. He recently completed a workshop at the Comedy Connection in Portland.

Tickets for “Comedy Blast” are $10 for members of the arts center, $14 in advance for the general public and $16 at the door.

They may be purchased by calling the arts center at 442-8455.
