LEWISTON – Jeannine G. Theriault, 72, of 163 Chadbourne Road, died Thursday, June 9, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.

Born in Kedgwick, N.B., Canada, on Sept. 5, 1932, a daughter of Dorilla and Rose Anna Soucy Girard, she was educated in Canadian schools.

She was married to Bertin Theriault on Dec. 26, 1955. He died June 7, 2001.

She was employed in the textile and shoe industry in this area.

She was a member of Ste. Famille Parish and enjoyed knitting, crocheting, cooking, playing cards and bingo.

She loved spending time with family and visiting New Brunswick in the summer.

She is survived by four daughters and spouses, Rejeanne and Roland Clark of Skowhegan, Gaetane and Gerald Pleau of Lewiston, Rachel and Michael Dixon of Lewiston, Diane and Kenneth Lefever of Livermore Falls; a son, Normand Theriault of Wales; 18 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Claudette Levesque of New Brunswick, and Gaetane Deblois and her husband, Willie, of Lewiston; four brothers, Ronald and his wife, Claudette, of New Brunswick, Gaston of Florida, Gilles of New Brunswick, and Gislain of Quebec.

She was predeceased by her husband, and a sister, Edna LaPlante.
