LEWISTON – Madeleine M. Hebert, 80, of 45 Loring Ave., passed away Friday morning, June 10, at d’Youville Pavilion.

Born in Auburn on Dec. 15, 1924, she was the daughter of Aimee and Amanda Labonte Perron. A 1941 graduate of Edward Little High School, she worked as a secretary at the Textile Worker’s Union Office.

She married J. Paul Hebert on June 2, 1947, and had four children.

A member of St. Louis Church, she was a Eucharistic Minister, taught CCD, and belonged to the Ladies of St. Anne.

She was a volunteer at St. Mary’s Regional Hospital for many years.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years; two sons, Thomas Hebert of Athens, Ga., and Peter and his wife, Margaret Hebert, of Hingham, Mass.; two daughters, Anne and her husband, Paul Laliberte, of Cape Elizabeth, and Judith Hebert of Windham; three sisters, Cecile Gagnon, Jeannine Guay, and Dorothy Perron; four grandsons; one granddaughter; and one great-granddaughter.

She was predeceased by her parents; two brothers, Roland and Alcide Perron; and one sister, Gilberte Perron.

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at d’Youville Pavilion, 4 West, for the wonderful care given to their mother.
