RUMFORD – Two people are running for two seats on the SAD 43 board representing Rumford.

Ed Flynn, a former SAD 43 board member who also served as chairman for several years, and Richard Gauvin, a child protective worker, are seeking the seats currently held by Chris Dickson and Tracey Higley. Neither current board member is seeking re-election.

Also on Tuesday’s ballot is Brian Gagnon who is running unopposed for an additional three-year term on the town’s Board of Assessors. Ron Russell is running unopposed to complete the final year of Craig Chamberlain’s term on the Board of the Assessors.

Rumford residents may vote from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, June 14, at the American Legion Hall on Congress Street
