DIXFIELD – The name of only one candidate for one of two open seats on the SAD 21 school board representing Dixfield will be on Tuesday’s ballot.

Bruce Ross, a resident of Nova Street who is a dentist working in Rumford, is running unopposed for the one year remaining on David Law’s term.

No one is running for the three-year position held by Victoria Brown.

Former Town Manager Nanci Allard said that seat may by filled by write-in or by appointment by selectmen.

Voting will take place from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the fire station.
