I’m writing in reference to the letter David Gudas wrote about Walter and Vincent Edwards.

I just wanted to say that his letter was very rude and inconsiderate to the family and friends who are still alive. Gudas speaks of some of the problems they had, but he failed to mention the good things they have done in the community. They also gave a lot to people even though they didn’t really have that much themselves. They gave people a place to stay and food.

I have a lot of respect for the brothers because they have helped me through a lot of hard times, and I considered them best friends as well as family, and if people can’t accept that then they can’t accept me.

I just don’t understand why people have to talk about them now that they are no longer with us. That letter really upset a lot of people when they read what was put in the newspaper. And I do buy two 40-ounce beers, but I don’t dump them, I drink them in their memory.
