OXFORD – The Lake Thompson Senior Citizens will meet for the annual bus trip on Thursday, June 16. The group will go to the Northland Restaurant in Berlin, N.H. Everyone planning to go should meet at 89 a.m. at the American Legion Hall, Route 121.
Society to meet
CASCO – The Raymond-Casco Historical Society will meet at 7 p.m. Monday, June 20, at the Casco Public Library.
Items on the agenda include a museum update, Casco Day parade plans, collaborative projects with the town of Casco, recent vandalism at the Schoolhouse Museum in Casco Village and update on Society Brochure.

Elder Network
BRIDGTON – The Elder Network, sponsored by the Lake Region Healthy Communities Coalition, will meet at noon Tuesday, June 28, at the Bridgton Community Center, Depot Street.
It is an opportunity for those who provide or use service to elder citizens to find out what is happening and being offered and to make suggestions about future offerings.
Everyone is welcome to attend. They should information about services for distribution and a list of events they would like to share. Lunch is provided. Donations are accepted. For more information, call 647-3116.
Meeting moved
BRIDGTON – The monthly meeting of the Lake Region Healthy Communities Coalition for July has been moved to noon Tuesday, July 12, at the Bridgton Community Center, 15 Depot St., due to the July 4th celebration.
The lunch will be a barbecue. It is an opportunity for neighbors, friends, visitors, business people, nonprofits, churches and other organizations to get together in a casual atmosphere and share information from around the region.
Bring information about the organization to distribute and upcoming events to share. Rain or shine, the cooking will be on the grill with salad and other food. For more information, call 647-3116.
Bridge play
NORWAY – Oxford Hills Duplicate Bridge met June 10 with the following game results: N/S, first, Woody Mercier and Anna Cormier; second, Nick Karamessinis and John Joys; third, Pete Cummings and Dick Allen.
E/W, first, Pat Quinn and Georgette Jewell; second, Richard Balian and Bill Bowman; third, Nancy Farmer and Marta Clements. The group welcomed Alex Baumhoff, Ashley Bies and John Joys for the morning play.
Oxford Hills Duplicate Bridge plays at 9 a.m. every Friday at the Fare Share Coop Commons, 445 Main St. All bridge players are welcome. Anyone wanting more information should call Mimi Bell at 743-8081 or Les Buzzell at 783-4153.
