Auburn – L/A Trails is looking for volunteers for a work day beginning at 8 a.m. Saturday, June 18, at Pettingill Park.
The work will improve an existing trail by clearing streams of debris and draining a muck area that has been growing because the natural drainage is blocked.
The crew will meet in the parking lot in front of the hockey arena. Bring rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows, brush saws or just yourself. Dress appropriately for trail work. It may be hot, it may be raining, but for sure there will be bugs. Don’t forget gloves.
Please contact Steve Myers if you plan to participate: [email protected]; 784-2941 (work) or 784-0324 (home).
