LEWISTON – The Lewiston Senior Citizens, who meet at the Multi-Purpose Center, 145 Birch St., are sponsoring trips for anyone age 50 and over.

Sign-ups are on a first-come, first-serve basis and the seating plan for the motor coach is based on the list. Sign-ups can only be done by putting down a deposit toward the cost of the trip.

A trip to the Carousel Theater in Boothbay Harbor will be held Wednesday, July 13. New York talent will perform “Surfin’ U.S.A.”

Performers will be the servers for the dinner theater event.

The bus will leave the center at 4 p.m.; dinner will be at 6:30 (cost included); and the bus will return by 9 p.m. Cost is $52 a person.

A bus will go to the Arundel Playhouse for “Sugart: Some Like It Hot” for a 2 p.m. show on Friday, July 29. Participants will lunch on their own. Cost is $36 a person.

The Ogunquit Playhouse will offer “Swing” on Thursday, Aug.11.

Those going will lunch on their own. Deadline for deposits is July 6 and cost is $46 a person.

A cruise on Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire will be offered Sunday, Aug. 14, on the Mt. Washington. Then people will transfer to the Hobo Railroad for a turkey dinner by Hart’s Turkey Restaurant. Deadline for sign-ups is July 13. Cost is $70 a person.

Transportation is via rented motor coach. Sign-ups can also be made by mailing payment to Lewiston Senior Citizens, Suite 2, Multi-Purpose Center; 145 Birch St., Lewiston, ME 04240.
