RUMFORD – For the second year, Rumford Community Home staff joined residents and family members in remembering the residents who died over the last 12 months.

As Activities Director Coe Coe Gurney read each resident’s name and gave a brief sketch of their personality, a staff members or loved one came forward to light a candle and receive a rose.

Vocal music was provided by Cindy Hanmer and Chris Shaw, who also played the keyboard. Pastor Jim Hanmer invited those present to “Imagine,” to reach into their memories for joy and comfort.

The afternoon concluded with refreshments.
