SABATTUS – Graveside committal prayers were held Thursday morning, June 16, at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Sabattus, for Barbara Sleeper who died June 12, with Chaplain Kathleen O’Wril presiding. Terry Royer of Bourque’s Market read “Freddy the Leaf” in Barbara’s honor and was also there with her husband, Roger, in recognition of Mrs. Sleeper’s longtime service as a loyal employee. There were also words of remembrance expressed by family members in attendance. A reception of fellowship followed the services at the home of Mr. Michael Sleeper in Sabattus. Pall bearers were Mike Matthews, Mike and Tyler Sleeper, Dick Greaton, Tom and Scott Fish. Arrangements by the family owned Dillingham & Son Memorial Chapel & Tribute Center, 62 Spring St., Auburn.
