MEXICO – Beginning Tuesday, June 21, and every Tuesday through Aug. 16, Mexico Library will host two story and craft hours: one at 10 a.m. for children ages 2 to 5 and again at 1 p.m. for children ages 6 to 11. On Tuesday, June 21, the summer story and craft hour will kick off with a special “Wild Things” puppet presentation by Michelle Boucher-Ladd and children, Sophie and Gabe. Strawberry fest

DIXFIELD – The Dixfield Congregational Church, Church on the Hill, will have a Strawberry Festival and quilt show from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, July 2. Breakfast and lunch will be served. Specials will be Belgian waffles and strawberry shortcake. There will be crafts and raffles.

Community lunch

PERU – The Families in Crisis Task Force will hold a community luncheon from noon to 1 p.m. Monday, June 20, at the Rockemeka Grange, 92 Peru Center Road. The menu will include chicken on biscuit, vegetable, cranberry sauce, pickles and dessert. Donations will be accepted.
