LEWISTON – The Flag Day ceremony that was canceled because of rain on June 14, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 18, at Veterans Memorial Park. In case of rain again, the monuments will be unveiled and the program canceled.
Mystery ride
WINTHROP – Winthrop Grange 209 will hold its annual Supper Mystery Ride on Monday, June 20, leaving the Grange Hall at 5 p.m.
Yacht club
AUBURN – The Taylor Pond Yacht Club will have an open house from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, June 26, at the facility off Perkins Ridge Road. The event will include a tour of the facilities, lesson registration for children’s tennis, swimming and sailing programs and refreshments. For more information, contact Tom Fogarty at 786-3610.
Bridge results
LEWISTON – The Lewiston-Auburn Duplicate Bridge Club met on June 14 at the Multi-Purpose Center. Winners in Flight A were: first, Mike Quinn and Katie Love; second, Larry Fortier and Lucille Theriault; third, David Lock and Patricia Garcia; fourth, Connie Reynolds and Claire Lyons.
Flight B winners were: tie, Roger Briggs and Lucille Bilodeau with Doug and Betty Sise. Another game will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday, June 21, at the Multi-Purpose Center. A partner is guaranteed.
The club also met on June 15 at Schooner Estates in Auburn. Winners were: first, Paul Barber and Luke Merry; second, Donald Smith and Katie Love; third, Mary Leahey and Anna Vitiello; fourth, Leslie Lord and Rosemarie Goodwin.

Takes title
AUBURN – Corrie-Marie Bernatchez, 13, of Auburn, Wins the O-UP Grand Supreme title at America’s Natural Beauties and Perfect Pearls Pageant held recently in Portland. She competed in gown, model and the natural photogenic events. Her score was a 598 out of a possible 600, which earned her the title, cash, prizes and her fees paid to the national pageant in Worcester, Mass., in November. She is the daughter of Gerry and Stephanie Bernatchez of Auburn.
