NORWAY – Winton N. Adams, 77, of Norway, died Tuesday, June 14, at his home.
He was born in Farmington, on May 7, 1928, the son of Leslie and Cora Robbins Adams. He attended schools in Farmington, and had been a mason tender and a woodsman.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting and operating a chain saw.
He is survived by his children, Vicki A. Clark and husband, Arnold, of Rumford Point, Linda Roberts and husband, William, of New Port Richey, Fla., Leslie Adams and wife, Linda, of West Paris, Carol Lee and husband, Timothy, of Bath, Nancy A. Kuvaja and husband, Peter, of South Paris, and Wendy Davis and husband, Dale, of Hudson, Fla.; three sisters, Charlotte Smith of Augusta, Phyllis Partridge of Wilton and Beverly McDaniel of Livermore; two brothers, Richard and wife, Nora, of Farmington Falls, and Edgar and wife, Mary, of Hillman, Mich.; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by two brothers, Robert and Harland; and two grandsons, Corey and Joseph.
