AUBURN – Normand A. Lussier, 75, of 200 Stetson Road, Auburn, died Thursday, June 16, at Seville Park Plaza, with his loving family at his side.

He was born in Auburn, April 17, 1930, the son of Albert and Juliette Jalbert Lussier. He was educated in Auburn schools and was married June 27, 1970 to Rita Dumond Levesque.

He was employed many years in the local shoe industry and later worked as a driver/salesman for Hi-Style Caterers for 20 years, retiring in 1991.

He was a member of the Auburn Catholic Community at Sacred Heart Church and was a charter member of the Knights of Columbus Andy Valley Council 8742 and a charter member of the Andy Valley Memorial Assembly 2173 Knights of Columbus Fourth Degree.

He loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and their “Pepere” meant the world to them. He was an avid Red Sox fan and enjoyed watching sports.

He is survived by his wife of Auburn; his stepchildren, Gary Levesque and wife, Dorothy, of Palmetto, Fla., Muriel Forrest and husband, Bill, of Choctaw, Okla., Ron Levesque and wife, Marta, of Northport, Fla., Roger Levesque and wife, Jill of Ladson, S.C., Bernadette Farley and husband, Tim, of South Harpswell, Linda Prince and husband, Roger, of Auburn, Karen Auger and husband, Leo, of South Paris, Ray Levesque and wife, Vicki, of Auburn, and Nancy Lachance and husband, Don, of Tecumseh, Okla.; 25 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren; a sister, Marguerite Berube and husband, Robert, of Lewiston; and three nephews, Kenneth and Norm Gray and Peter Berube.

He was predeceased by a brother, Louis Bertrand Sirois.
