MONMOUTH – Funeral services with full military honors were held Saturday for Arnard “Bus” M. Glidden at Bragdon-Finley Funeral Home, 707 Main St., Monmouth.
The Rev. Richard Wrentzel and the Rev. Nathan Colson officiated at the services. Members of V.F.W. Post No. 11032, V.F.W. Frank L. Mitchell Post No. 3335 and AmVets Post No. 33 performed the military ceremony. Honor Guards were Bob Hodkins, John Hovestadt, Bill Short, Bob English, Roger Haman, Bob Beckey and Will Bailey; Firing Squad: Cleon Cook, Richard Dupont, Dick Moreau, Bob Roy, Raoul LaPlante, Bob Welch, Roland Giguere and Dick Therrien.
“Taps” was played by Kenna Prue, a grand-niece of Arnard Glidden.
The Masonic service was by Monmouth Masonic Lodge No. 110. Bagpipes were played Robert Underwood. Interment was at Leeds Plains Cemetery, Plains Road, Leeds.
