LEWISTON – The wedding of Amy Lavallee and Wayne Louis was held at 5 p.m. on July 30 at Holy Cross Church. Msgr. Rene Mathieu officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Louis is the daughter of Bruce and Lise Lavallee of Minot. Mr. Louis is the son of Andy and Mona Louis of Nashua, N.H.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. Amanda Brien was maid of honor for her best friend and bridesmaids were Jen McCafferty, friend, Cindy Lavallee, sister-in-law, and Gwen Louis, sister of the bridegroom. K.P. Lavallee and Camielle Chan, godchildren, were flower girls.

Jamie Joy and Chris Berry, best friends, were best men and ushers were Steve Lavallee, brother of the bride, and Brett McCafferty, friend.

A reception followed at Martindale Country Club in Auburn, after which the couple traveled to Cancun, Mexico. They are residing in Manchester, N.H.

The bride received a bachelor’s degree from Rivier College in Nashua, N.H., and is a teacher at Harmony Learning Center in Bedford, N.H.

The bridegroom received a bachelor’s degree from Plymouth State College in New Hampshire is employed as a benefit specialist at Fidelity Investments in Merrimack, N.H.
