FARMINGTON – Selectmen appointed 15 residents to various committees last week, but there are still vacancies for willing volunteers.

Appointed were:

• Alvin DaCosta and Anthony LaBella to the Board of Appeals.

• Emily Floyd and Paul A. Judkins Jr. to Board of Assessment Review.

• Michael Mansir, Anthony LaBella and Jeanne Simpson to the Budget Committee.

• Bobbie Hanstein and Paul McGuire to the Conservation Commission.

• Bill Marceau and Donna Tracy to the Planning Board and Clayton King Jr. and Kyle Warren as alternates.

• Randall Oakley and Gary Parlin to the Recreation Committee.

• Everett Vining to the Zoning Board.

LaBella, a new resident of Farmington, had applied to serve where needed. Town Manager Richard Davis did not know Monday whether he had accepted the appointments.

Vacancies yet to be filled are on the Budget Committee, Board of Appeals and Zoning Board. Interested residents may pick up an application at the town’s municipal building or may call the town office at 778-6538.
