NORWAY – The meeting of the Norway-Paris Solid Waste board of directors, originally scheduled for Monday, June 20, has been postponed until 7 p.m. Monday, July 11, in the Norway Town Office. There will be no other meeting in July. .

Bridge results

NORWAY – Oxford Hills Duplicate Bridge welcomed new players into the winners circle on June 17.

Playing together for the second week, Alex Baumhoff and Ashley Bies tied for third with Nancy Farmer and Marta Clements. Winners were Pat Quinn and Georgette Jewell, with Luke Merry and Woody Mercier coming in second. An exciting game was dealt!

All bridge players are welcome to join in play. A partner is guaranteed. All should arrive a few minutes early to ensure a prompt start and finish.

Oxford Hills Duplicate Bridge meets at 9 a.m. every Friday at the Fare Share Commons Coop, 445 Main St. For more information, call Les Buzzell at 783-4153.

Blood drive

OXFORD – The American Red Cross is asking all eligible blood donors in the Oxford area to give blood on Monday, July 7, when the bloodmobile is at the American Legion Post 112, Route 121, King Street. The blood drive hours are 2 to 7 p.m.

Potential volunteer donors must be at least age 17, in good health and weigh over 110 pounds. In most cases, donors may give if they are on medication, but should know the names of these medications.
