The voters gave President Bush a Republican majority in both houses during the last election. What happened? The leftist Democrats are running the show. They have stalled nominations, tried to ruin reputations of honorable people, refused to work with the other side, constantly make speeches to discredit our duly-elected president, comparing our government’s treatment of enemy combatants to the Nazis, the Gulag and Pol Pot, thereby giving aid and ammunition to our enemy, the terrorists.

Democrats rail against the Iraq war and demand an exit plan. This will only aid the enemy more, lest we all forget, there are still U.S. soldiers serving in Korea, Germany, Japan and Clinton’s war, Bosnia.

Democrats are in charge in Washington, and it isn’t pretty. They are doing more harm to our country by their continuing rants against our president, and our troops are placed in jeopardy by their gross exaggerations.

The Democrats lost the election, but they still own Washington.

We need strong leadership. I thought we had it with the last election. but I was wrong. The Republican majority is weak and ineffectual.
