PORTSMOUTH, N.H. (AP) – A defendant in a prostitution case involving the Danish Health Club of Kittery, Maine, is expected to plead guilty today in U.S. District Court in Portland, Maine.

Lance Williams, 46, of Revere, Mass., has been granted a hearing before Judge D. Brock Hornby to change his plea from not guilty to guilty.

Assistant U.S. Attorney George Dilworth said he could not comment on the plea change but acknowledged the request is a petition from Williams to plead guilty.

Williams, also known as Lance Jones, was arrested April 29 and charged with conspiracy to violate the Mann Act and the Travel Act and transporting and inducing a minor to engage in prostitution.

The Danish Health Club was raided in June 2004 by Internal Revenue Service, FBI and state police officers.
