AUBURN – Yvonne Catherine Bouchard Gagnon, 86, formerly of 71 Spring St., Auburn, died Thursday, June 23, at Schooner Estates where she resided since 2001.

Born in Daigle, March 10, 1919, a daughter of Hubald and Elizabeth Gagnon Bouchard, she was educated in Daigle schools.

She was married to Robert Gagnon, who died Jan. 24, 1968.

She was a member of Auburn Catholic Community at Sacred Heart Parish and was a past member of the Golden Age Club of the parish. She loved to smile and play bingo.

She is survived by a daughter, Carmen Teresa Gagnon Chauff and her husband, Donald, of Houma, La.; three sons, Richard R. Gagnon of Houma, La., Robert G. Gagnon of Lewiston, and Leo F. Gagnon of Sabattus; 10 grandchildren, Lisa C. Matherine, Mary C. Caro, Laurie C. Breaux, Travis Chauff, Dawn Gagnon Vento, Melanie Hampton, Frank III and Stephanie Hampton, and Scott and Eric Gagnon; six great-grandchildren; three sisters, Yvette Bouchard, Patricia Bouchard Williams and her husband, Jim, of Yazoo City, Miss., Marie Madeleine Bouchard Stevens and her husband, Howard, of Bedford, Texas.

She was predeceased by her husband; a daughter, Jeannine Cecile Hampton; her parents; a sister, Janet Bouchard Laliberte; three brothers, Joseph, Gerard and Philip Bouchard.
