HEBRON – Debra A. Black, 43, of Bryant Road, Hebron, died unexpectedly Friday, June 24, at her home.

She was born in Lewiston, Dec. 2, 1961, a daughter of Leo Tanguay and Joan Bertrand. She was educated in local schools and graduated from Lewiston High School.

She was currently employed as a bartender at the New Auburn Social Club. Prior to that, she spent almost 15 years working at Arrow Hart in Brunswick, and later worked several years driving for Allied Medical Service in Lewiston.

She was a member of New Auburn Social Club.

In her free time, she enjoyed spending quality time with her niece, Micaela, the company of her dog, Benji, and motorcycle riding, as she owned her own bike several years ago.

She will be sadly missed by her mom, family and many friends.

She is survived by her mother, Joan Bertrand, and her companion, Gene Tremblay, of Auburn; her father, Leo Tanguay, of Sabattus; her fianc, Paul Briggs of Hebron; a brother, Norm Tanguay, of Richmond; three nieces, Micaela, Sarah, and Jessie; a brother-in-law, Paul Cyr, of Lewiston; and a close and special family friend, Linda Giroux, of Lewiston.

She was predeceased by a sister, April Cyr, on March 22 of this year.
