LEWISTON – A surprise party was held recently for George and Helen Pelletier of Lewiston, on the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary. The event was planned by their daughters and husbands, Nancy and Guy Denis and Sue and Rick Langlais.
Toastmasters were daughters of the couple.
Mr. Pelletier and the former Helen Saucier were married on July 2, 1955, at St. Mary’s Church in Lewiston. In addition to their two daughters, they have three grandchildren, Chad Denis and wife, Katrina, Tina Denis and fiancé, Jay Lepple, and Nicholas Langlais.
Original wedding attendant present was Noella Ouellette.
The couple’s granddaughter, Tina, has chosen her grandparents’ anniversary date of July 2 for her own wedding.
