Brian Crabtree, the son of Frank and Cynthia Crabtree of Turner, recently graduated from Grinnell College with a bachelor of arts degree in Biological Chemistry.

Brian has been selected to particpate in Teach For America. Teach For America is the national corps of outstanding recent college graduates of all academic majors who commit two years to teach in urban and rural public schools, and become lifelong leaders in the effort to expand educational opportunity.

The mission is to build the movement to eliminate educational inequality by enlisting some of our nation’s most promising future leaders in the effort. Brian will be assigned to The Mississippi Delta and will teach science at the secondary level.
