RUMFORD – Jeanne A. LeBlond, 87, a resident of Park Street, Livermore Falls, died Saturday, June 25, at the Rumford Community Home, where she had been a patient since August 2004.

She was born April 18, 1918, in Quebec, Canada, the daughter of Joseph and Euphemie (Thibault) LePage. She went to school in Canada and Livermore Falls.

On Oct. 25, 1936, she married Edmond LeBlond at St. Rose of Lima Church in Jay, and he died Nov. 20, 1976.

She worked at Livermore and Bass Shoe Co., and was a devoted homemaker.

She was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church and enjoyed bingo and crocheting.

She is survived by three sons, Lorenzo and his wife, Irma, of Livermore Falls, Maurice and his wife, Gloria, of Dixfield, and Paul of Lewiston; a daughter, Irene Guptill of Orville, Ohio; four sisters, Yvette Chretien of Livermore Falls, Fernette Pelletier of Jay, Noella Collins of Lewiston, and Laurette Dennis of Lewiston; 16 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by two sons, Leo and Raymond LeBlond; four brothers, Andrien, Noel, Fern and Bert LePage; and two sisters, Emeline Chretien and Theresa LePage.
