Dear Sun Spots: I am also looking for the owner of The Shop located at 1930 Lisbon Road in Lewiston. Last fall, I dropped off my power washer for repair. A few months ago, I went to pick it up only to find out that The Shop was closed for business and my pressure washer was nowhere to be found. I have asked the owner of the building if he knew how to get in touch with Mr. Hussey, and he did not have a clue. Are there more customers like me looking for their power machines? I would like to have my pressure washer back. – Marcel B. Poulin, Lewiston.

Dear Sun Spots: The Shop, a small engine repair shop, formerly located at 1930 Lisbon Road has closed because the owner was deployed to Afghanistan to serve our country during this time of need. He will reopen once his tour of duty is over. – No Name, No Town.

Answer: Sun Spots spoke with the owner’s friend who says the owner left March 26 for Georgia for two weeks, then on to Afghanistan. He is scheduled for an 18-month tour of duty and plans to reopen upon his return. His friend notes all items were delivered prior to his departure and all accounts settled. The name Marcel Poulin did not ring a bell nor does he remember any power washers coming in or going out for the month of March. Everyone was called about their items and what was left was returned or put out to trash. However, the owner’s friend noted there are also two stores on the same road, both named The Shop, although they’re not connected. Sun Spots tried the other phone number for The Shop at 2172 Lisbon Street and the number is disconnected, no longer in service. Perhaps there are others familiar with this store who would be willing to share information with these readers.
