CHELSEA, Mass. – Margaret “Peggy” Elizabeth Green passed away June 26, at her home in Chelsea, Mass., after struggling with cancer.
Born May 26, 1930, in Charlestown, Mass., she loved bingo, playing cards and was a big fan of wrestling.
She is survived by her sons, Donald Thayer Jr., Thomas Thayer of West Haven, Conn., Curtis Thayer of Chelsea, Mass., and Paul Thayer of Everett, Mass.; daughters, Mary Macie and her husband, Rudy, of Mechanic Falls, Carol Cole and her husband, Kurk, of Oxford, Cindy Mueller of Pennsylvania, and Paula Thayer of Chelsea, Mass.; 27 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Donald Thayer Sr.; her son, John Thayer Sr.; and her infant grandson, Gerald Thayer.
