SCARBOROUGH – The Maine Association of USATF will hold its Region 1 Qualifying Meet (10-under, 11-12, 13-14) at Scarborough High School on Saturday, July 2. The triathlon and pentathlon will begin at 9 a.m., with the track and field events starting at 11:00. Age group is determined by subtracting birth year from 2005.

Competitors must be Maine USATF registered and that can be obtained at the meet for $12. Entry fee for all ages is $5 for the first event and $4 for each additional event. Registration will begin two hours before the start of the meet. Proof of birth is required. Entry forms can be downloaded from the Maine USATF Web site at www.sub5.com.
