FARMINGTON – Everyone’s Resource Depot will offer its July Arts and Crafts workshops. The programs are open to creative kids of all ages and will be held 3 to 4 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays in July.

Each workshop will feature craft projects using scrap materials. Topics for each session are July 5 and 7, Crazy Critter Masks; July 12 and 14, Flying Fish and Windsocks; July 19 and 21, Shoebox Creations; July 26 and 28, Jewelry and Leather Projects. A small fee will be charged for materials and instruction.

The Depot is offering help to those who are planning summer programs for children. Many sample projects have been constructed and idea sheets are available on request. Examples of inexpensive scrap materials in good supply are: leather pieces and laces, paper, felt and canvas, colorful foam pieces and beads, wood turnings, telephone wire and wallpaper books.

For more information about the workshops or materials and services for programs, people may call 778-7150. The Depot is in Franklin Hall on the UMF campus at the corner of Main and South streets. Summer hours are 3 to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to noon Saturday. Special openings can also be arranged.
