Roy’s plans tourney
AUBURN – Jon Roy, owner of Roy’s Driving Range on Route 4, is offering a family golfing event with proceeds to benefit Good Shepherd Food Bank, Hope Haven Gospel Mission, Loaves and Fishes, and St Martin De Porres. Registration fee is $20 for 18 holes of golf. It’ll be a shotgun scramble with 2 winners from the men’s team and 2 from the women’s team. Second place finishers will also receive a prize. The family can play mini golf and hit one large basket of golf balls for free. There will be music and dancing.
The men’s golf day is July 9 from 8 to noon, and the ladies day is Sunday, July 10 from 1-4 p.m.
Registration can be made at Roy’s between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m.
