PORTLAND – Straight from Broadway, the Children’s Theatre of Maine will perform “Seussical, The Musical,” by Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty, based on the works of Dr. Seuss. The play will run July 6 to Aug. 6, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 2 p.m. and Fridays and Saturdays at 2 and 7 p.m. at 317 Marginal Way.

“Seussical, The Musical” is a new musical, which blends together Dr. Seuss’ most famous stories, creatures and places. Viewers will find elements from at least 15 of his books, as characters fall in love, have desperate adventures and save the world.

Children of all ages from throughout southern Maine work hand in hand with professional actors from The Children Theatre of Maine to produce live theatre.

The Children’s Theatre of Maine is committed to nurturing future generations of imaginative audiences and dedicated artists. “Seussical, The Musical” is the final play of the Theatre’s 80th season.
