RUMFORD – Funeral services for Mr. Burgess were conducted Tuesday, June 28, at the Meader and Son Funeral Home, Rumford, with the Rev. R. Kelly Harvell and the Rev. Robert H. Plummer officiating. Music selections were “Wind Beneath My Wings” by Bette Midler and “The Lord’s Prayer.” Committal services were conducted by the Rev. R. Kelly Harvell and the Rev. Robert H. Plummer and interment was at the East Rumford Cemetery, Rumford. A reception followed at the Virgin Memorial Chapel dining room of the Rumford United Methodist Church.
