Beware the serpent in the tree. He lurks there using the voice of God to fool you into believing his ways. His truth is false. Beware the “Christians” who gather signatures in front of your churches; the ones who say they are like God, but do not believe that all people deserve equal treatment as his children. They have boiled the Bible down to one passage in Leviticus, ignoring Jesus’ commandment, “Love one another as I have loved you” (John 15:12).

The Bible challenges us to cast the first stone if we have lived without sin. What gives these so-called Christians the right to judge others, and to claim they are Christians when even they do not follow God’s law?

When Jesus roamed the Earth teaching us his word, he loved us unconditionally without prejudice. The righteous serpents lurking in front of our churches – the ones who claim to be Christians but believe that equal protection under the law belongs to all of God’s children except homosexuals – are also telling a false truth. They seem to believe that Jesus would turn his back on homosexuals and that it is right to hate them.

These advocates of discrimination have not opened their ears or their hearts to God’s word.
