LEWISTON – Muriel T. Violette, 80, of 99 Rosedale St., Lewiston, passed away Tuesday, June 28, at her home.
Born in Lewiston on April 17, 1925, she was the daughter of Adelard and Eva Duchesneau Thibault. She was educated in local schools.
She married Philip Violette on April 12, 1947.
She was employed at A & P stores for 25 years as a cashier.
She was a lifetime parishioner of Holy Cross Church.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years; two sons, Tobie and his wife, Carla Violette, of Auburn, and Daniel and his wife, Susan, of Lisbon; three sisters, Diane Bernatchez of Lewiston, Rita Poisson of New Hampshire, and Lorraine Caron of Lewiston; four grandchildren, Pearl, Michael, Jennifer, and Justin; two great-grandchildren, Kyle and Megan; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents; four brothers, Lionel, Rosaire, Roger and Ronald; two sisters, Diana and Simonne; and a grandson, Jerrerd Violette.
