LEWISTON – Dan Cote of Aqua-Vend of Maine, 914 Sabattus St., has been named to the Dealer Advisory Council representing all Hague Quality Water Co. dealers from Maine to New Jersey. He is one of eight council members in the United States.

Hague, based in Columbus, Ohio, manufactures assorted water treatment equipment.

Council members are chosen for their work in customizing water treatment for most households and customer service. Cote will oversee dealer concerns about equipment, training and warranty along with any service issues. Contact Cote at 782-1005.

DeLuca heads state group

MANCHESTER – Dr. Thomas DeLuca of Western Maine Internal Medicine was recently elected president of the Maine Osteopathic Association.

The MOA’s mission is “to serve the osteopathic profession of the State of Maine through a coordinated effort of professional education, professional advocacy and member services in order to ensure the availability of quality osteopathic health care to the people of this state.”

DeLuca has been a member of the MOA since 1994 and a member of its board of directors since 1997. He has chaired the MOA Professional Advocacy Committee, the Professional and Public Education Committee and has served on its Membership Committee.

In addition to his involvement with the MOA, Dr. DeLuca has been a member of the Rumford Hospital medical staff for 11 years. He currently serves as the medical director for both Life Strides Cardiac Rehab and the Specialty Clinics at Rumford Hospital.

DeLuca earned his D.O. degree from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency at Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia and is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

He and his wife live in Hanover with their two children.
