FARMINGTON – Foothills Summer Arts is accepting registrations for its popular program, now in its 15th season.

Session 1, July 11 to 15, is for students who have completed grades four to six; July 18 to 22 is for students who have completed grades seven to 12. In workshops in art, theater, writing, creative movement and music, participants will create their own original scenes, dances, songs, stories and 2-D and 3-D art.

Professional artist-teachers come from all over Maine to teach at FSA. All levels of ability and experience are welcome.

The program, presented by the Foothills Arts Center, runs 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at Academy Hill School in Wilton.

Three area school districts, SAD 36, SAD 21 and Union 42 provide school buses to FSA for students in their districts and others along their route. In addition, the FSA staff can help families arrange carpools.

Full tuition for FSA is $145. Donations from local businesses and individuals make it possible for Foothills Art Center to offer reduced fees for families who cannot afford the full fee. For more information, contact Director Anne Geller at 778-0448; info@foothillsarts.org; www.foothillsarts.org.
