SAN ANTONIO, Texas – Muriel Gagne Morin, 83, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend, peacefully passed away on June 8.

Born in Auburn, on Nov. 9, 1921, to Joseph Gagne and Clairilda Malo, she has now ascended to her heavenly home.

She enjoyed being a member of the Altar Society at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, and her favorite pastime was quilting.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Roy E. Morin, son of Fred P. Morin and Marie Alice Parent. They wed on Dec. 26, 1942 at St. Louis Church in Auburn. They settled in San Antonio in November 1960.

Other survivors include her children, sons, Dr. Ronald R. Morin and wife, Elizabeth, of San Antonio, Texas, and Norman B. Morin and wife, Jane, of San Antonio, Texas; daughter, Nancy G. Edgar and husband, Jim, of the Woodlands, Texas. She enjoyed the company of her seven grandchildren, Stacey and husband, Travis Griggs, Kristi and husband, Jeffrey McGovern, Courtney and husband, Michael Gillogly, Alison Holmes, Natalie Morin, Katherine Morin and David Morin.

She is predeceased by her parents, and her sister, Norma Lafontaine.

The family would like to express their gratitude to her doctors, nurses and the staff at the Methodist Hospital CICU for their loving care. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. May she rest in peace with our Heavenly Father.
