The South Central Maine Board of Soccer Offficials (SCMBSO) will be running soccer referee clinics for anyone interested in reffing middle school and high school soccer games for the upcoming season. The clinis are geared for new officials but also to refresh veterans on the rules of soccer.
The SCMBSO covers areas around Rangeley, Dixfield, Rumford, Farmington, Jay, Livermore, Turner, Oxford, Bethel, Lewiston/Auburn, Buckfield and other surrouding areas. Soccer officials are greatly needed in these areas. Times for the clinics are as follows: July 24, 5:00 to 7 p.m., Edward Little High School in Room 46; July 31, 5:00 to 7 p.m., Edward Little High School in Room 46; Aug. 7, 5:00 to 7 p.m., at EL in Room 46; Aug. 14, 4:00 to 5 p.m., new refs test in Rm. 46; 5:00 to 6 p.m., physical, all refs, ELHS Track; 6:00 to 7 p.m., state int. meet; ELHS cafeteria.
