MINOT – Announcement is made of the engagement of Trina Downing of Minot to Robert Hackett of Mechanic Falls.
Miss Downing is the daughter of Bruce and Brenda Downing of Minot. She is a 2002 graduate of Poland Regional High School and is currently a senior at the University of Maine at Orono.
Mr. Hackett is the son of Barry Hackett of Mechanic Falls and Joe and Valerie Emery of Mechanic Falls. He is a 1999 graduate of Edward Little High School and is currently employed at Federal Distributors in Lewiston.
A fall 2007 wedding will be held at the East Auburn Baptist Church.
