I was amazed to learn that U.S. soldiers fought in Vietnam under the terms of the Southeast Asia Treaty Organization, a United Nations regional affiliate. President Lyndon Johnson declined to seek a declaration of war against Vietnam, insisting that the U.N.-connected SEATO treaty authorized the war. Here’s why America has been repeatedly involved in unwinnable wars – to bolster the United Nations.

The Korean War, won militarily by U.S. forces until U.N. directives forced a reversal, has never been settled. The state of war begun in 1950 actually still exists, courtesy of the U.N.

Since our nation repeatedly sends huge numbers of people into United Nations’ operations, is it not reasonable to conclude that our nation’s military is a division of the United Nations? If a nation loses control of its military power, it is fair game for being forced under someone else’s domination, in this instance under a world government. Tragically, our nation is well along in ceding its military power.

Although propagandizing theatrics maintain that George Bush went into Iraq without U.N. permission, U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations John Negroponte stated: “The actions being taken are authorized under existing Council resolutions, including number 678 (1990) and number 687 (1991),” proving our invasion of Iraq was a U.N. operation from its outset. One obtains authorization from a superior, not an inferior.

The USA is now effectively controlled by the United Nations. We must demand our representatives support HR 1146 to get the U.S. out of the U.N.
