LEWISTON – A Domino’s Pizza delivery man was tied up and robbed at knife point Sunday night.

Police Lt. Tom Avery said police converged on the River Street area where the holdup took place shortly after 10 p.m.

The robbery happened as the delivery man was bringing pizza to an apartment in a River Street tenement house, he said.

The pizza guy “was confronted by a group of adult males brandishing knives,” Avery said. After tying the delivery man up, “They stole his money.”

Police were continuing their investigation late Sunday night.
