FARMINGTON – Exotic backdrops have been captured in grand style by the photography of local residents featured in the exhibit at Franklin Memorial Hospital. On a wall in the hospital’s front lobby, 20 photographs framed in various sizes express the theme “Favorite Vacations.”

The exhibit, titled “A Moment in Time,” represents the work of greater Franklin County recreational photographers. Every few months the exhibit and theme changes – putting on display pictures of children, parents, home and more.

Photo selections now on display were made based on artistic value, quality, diversity and consistency with the stated theme.

They include: The London Eye by Brian Peak; Creativity by Mike Doiron; Dog Judy by Roberta Richardson; On Top of the Continental Divide (Jackson, Wyo.) by Buzz Davis; Santorini by Sue Eastler; No We Didn’t Do It (Moab, Utah) by Terri Pierce.

Also, Sand Turtles by Bryn Doiron; Haystack Rock on the Oregon Coast by Jill Gray; Santorini Ocean View by Sue Eastler; Look, Same Place as Raiders of the Lost Ark (Arches National Park in Utah) by Terri Pierce; Spring Break by Jeffrey Brown; Grossglockner Mountain (Austria) by an unknown Austrian.

Also, Columbia River Gorge Vista (Oregon) by Jill Gray; Biking in the Alps by Jeff Leonards; Urqhart Castle (Lochness, Scotland) by Cheryl Peak; Dylan’s Cliff Island Striper by Scott Weinfield; You Want Me to Eat This? by Gina Hobert; Cooling Off by Gina Hobert; Street Scene in Old Quebec City by Lydia Daigle; Room with a View by Cheryl Peak.
