LEWISTON – Linda E. Foss, 75, of West Minot, died Sunday afternoon, July 10, at d’Youville Pavilion.

She was born in West Minot, on April 15, 1930, the daughter of John and Anna Louisa Ervasti Ojala. She attended school in West Minot and graduated from Edward little High School.

She worked in a shoe shop and as a secretary. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, scrabble, cards, her time spent with family – especially cookouts – and she loved all of her pets.

On Sept. 2, 1949, she married Delmar L. Foss, who predeceased her.

She is survived by her nine children, Carol and her husband, Tim Doughty, of Auburn, Donna and her husband, Jim Fickett Sr., of Waterford, John Foss of Poland, Kathy and her husband, Jim Bowie, of Oxford, Gary Foss of Poland, Delmar Foss of West Minot, Ernest Foss of Auburn, Wanda and her husband, Earle Bonney, of Livermore Falls, and Richard and his wife, Terry, of Buckfield; grandchildren, Kevin and Kristine Doughty, Robin and Christopher Berube, Jim Jr. and Brenda Fickett, Eric Fickett and friend, Darla, Jonathan and Heather Fickett, Alan Brooks and fiancee, Nicole, Angela Brooks and fiancee, Dick, Becky Rice, Kristopher, Scott and Meghan Bowie, Molly Palmer, Jennifer and Everett Wright, Kathleen Bonney and fiancee, Peter Lecowitch, Scott and Janelle Bonney, Jessica Foss and Adam Pulvinen, and Heather Foss and Hunter Foss; great-grandchildren, Ethan, Abby, Jazmymn, Kristopher, Katelyn, Kavan, Brianna, Lucas, Benjamin, Shawn, Madison, Jacob and Georgia; three sisters, Hilda Allen of Auburn, Ada Williams of New Hampshire and Laina Huotari of Auburn; and a sister-in-law, Judy Small of Hebron.

She was predeceased by two brothers, Matti and Ernest; and three sisters, Lempi, Mary and Annie.
