LEWISTON – Theresa M. Parent, 79, formerly of Farwell Mills Complex, Lisbon, died Monday, July 11, at Ste. Marguerite d’Youville Pavilion where she lived for the past five months.

Born in Van Buren, June 9, 1926, a daughter of the late Patrick and Imelda Fournier Beaulieu, she was educated in Grand Isle schools.

She was a member of Holy Cross Parish and was married to Marcel M. Parent, who died May 26, 1999.

She worked at Bates Manufacturing Co., Hill Division, as a spinner and later at Etonic Shoe.

She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Thibault of Lewiston; a son, Richard M. Parent of Sabattus; her grandchildren, Shelley and Dave Mousaw, Lynn and Troy McLain, Jenney Parent, and Marc and Tracey Thibault; her great-granddaughters, Briannah Dill and Mariah Brown; her sister, Julie Tremont of Connecticut; and her brothers, Leo Levasseur and wife, Evelyn, of Lisbon, and O’Neil “Buz” Levasseur Jr., of Florida.

She was predeceased by her stepfather O’Neil Levasseur Sr.; sisters, Priscilla Chasse and Freda Hooey; and brothers, Fernand and Elmer Beaulieu, Roland “Pete,” Ronald and Roger Levasseur.
