Joyce Murphy of Strong, earned a Master of Science in Nursing degree from Saint Joseph’s College of Maine in May. She is the program manager for Franklin County Children’s Task Force Growing Healthy Families program. She also has a holistic nursing practice as the Northwood Nurse in association with Amethyst Health Services in Farmington and Belgrade Lakes Premier Wellness Center in Belgrade Lakes. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society and received an American Holistic Nurses Association Scholarship in 2000 and Maine Roads to Quality Scholarships through the Muskie Institute, 2001-2003.
