GREENE – The Allen Pond Improvement Association will holds its annual meeting at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 16, at the Greene Town Office.All members are encouraged to attend, and other interested residents are welcome.

Yard sale

LEWISTON – In support of Good Shepherd Food-Bank’s goal to get the mobile food truck on the road, area Avon representatives will join to host a clearance yard sale to raise funds for the truck. The truck will help get food into the underserved areas in the state.

TeamTanguay’s sale will be held from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, July 16, at 13 Wilson St. Donated rummage items are also being accepted. Grilled smoked sausages and beverages will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. to those who make a donation for the truck.

Barbecue set

GREENE – A chicken barbecue supper will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Sunday, July 17, at the Greene Volunteer Fire Department. Cost is $6 for adults and $4 for children under 12.

The menu will include half a chicken, cole slaw, beans, potato salad, pickles, rolls, drink and dessert. All proceeds will benefit the Greene Fire and Rescue.
