AUBURN – Patricia M. Bubier, 75, a resident of 165 Davis Ave., Auburn, died Wednesday, July 13, at her home.
She was born in Detroit, Mich., Aug. 31, 1929, the daughter of Merritt and Ethel (Haynes) Hamilton. She moved to Lewiston at a young age, attended Lewiston schools and was a 1947 graduate of Lewiston High School. Following high school, she attended the University of Maine.
She married Richard Bubier on July 14, 1950. She took an active role in her growing children’s activities, having served as a den mother, girl scout leader and was active in the PTA.
She was first a housewife and mother, then became employed as her young family grew up. She worked in customer service and also was employed at Jordan Marsh in inventory control.
Her hobbies included reading, yard sales, jigsaw puzzles, collectibles and enjoying the ocean.
Survivors include her husband, Richard Bubier, of Auburn; one son, Kendall Bubier and his wife, Kathleen, of Marlborough, Mass.; one daughter, Jane Hatch and her husband, Richard, of Hebron; and 10 grandchildren.
She was predeceased by one daughter, Laurie Bubier, who died in 1975.
